I’m a native Knoxvillian, blessed with two grown children, Chad Thomas and Brooke Brummitt, and five grand—oh so grand!—children. Brooke and her husband, Logan Brummitt, live in Knoxville and have a daughter, Olivia, and a son, Samuel. Chad, my daughter-in-law, Mindy, and their three children, Corbin, Piper and Sutton, also live in Knoxville. I love being a "Granna" and consider "grand" babies appropriately named "grand" as they are truly sweet blessings.

My career is one of long-standing sales success. After graduating cum laude from college with a B.S. in business management, I enjoyed many successful years as a territory manager in the medical/pharmaceutical sales industry and for an International medical manufacturing company. I was recognized over numerous years for achievements in highest sales volumes. I returned to the University of Tennessee in more recently to pursue studies in interior design, then spent several years working in residential and commercial interior design. I served as communications director for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Board of Directors for the state of Tennessee.
