Barbara has spent much of her life moving from city to city, and has loved calling Knoxville home for the past ten years. She has bought, sold and flipped houses in California, Arizona and Tennessee, and enjoys the transformation of houses becoming homes.

Barbara grew to love Knoxville in high school, when her father was relocated to the area, and subsequently decided to join the Volunteer family and graduated from the University of Tennessee. Her son, a current student at UT, purchased his first home just last year, proving to be a valuable investment as he finishes his undergraduate degree. Barbara’s daughter and son-in-law invested in their first home three years ago, and have been thrilled with the equity they have gained.

Barbara created and owned a small business for over twenty years, while continuing to invest in real estate, recognizing the incredible value that home ownership can offer. She is a firm believer in the American Dream and that home ownership is one of the most important and rewarding financial decisions that most of us will make in our lifetime. She also knows that it can be a challenging decision, sometimes overwhelming. Barbara’s personal and business experience, along with licensing training, guides prospective buyers through the challenges, responsibilities and rewards of home ownership. Barbara joined Paula Patterson’s firm in 2017, with the ambition of empowering buyers to achieve their own real estate goals.
